We aim for a little town where two good friends live. Andy and Kathy Probert are celebrating Andy's birthday today, and we're going to present our good wishes in person.
We have a great brunch with them, and return to the house to chat. Andy brings out a booklet of storyboards he drew for Back to the Future, and Oliver pours over them, inspecting each little line and curve. Andy points out a few of the inside jokes he often inserts into his work, and shares the resulting stories from his days at Amblin.
He hears voices in his driveway and we go out to meet some neighbors who are attracted to the car. They make a donation and then we're off to meet Andy's oldest daughter, who has planned a birthday dinner and wants to see the time machine. Kathy is excited to co-pilot the time machine, and says it will be her first time! We arrive, photos are taken, and donations are made by their two little girls. It's neat to see three generations around the car, with the designer of the 'Back to the Future' time machine being the patriarch of the family!
